BI-POLAR
after “Lemon Squeeze II” by Wolf Kahn

Faced foe in daily battle,
the other side threatens
certain dominion. Depending
on the day, moment –
lemon zest or inky
depths. Constant stream
of advice, counsel, divides
euphoria from the dark.
Victory belongs to no one.
